Pedestrian Struck After Crash

by Dixon Law Office

A child is standing at a corner, waiting for the light to change so she can cross.  As she is waiting, a car runs the red light and crashes into another.  The momentum from the crash causes the two cars to strike the little girl.  She is seriously injured.

Does the little girl have a claim?

Yes. The law requires that a driver who causes an accident is responsible for all of the consequences of his actions.  That means that if the crash he caused then causes the little girl to be hurt, that driver has to compensate the little girl and her family too.  That’s only fair.

Many lawyers don’t know these simple concepts of injury law.  That’s why you need a professional, someone who limits their practice to personal injury law.  At Dixon Law Office, our team represents only victims of personal injury accidents.  We represent people, not companies. Contact us at toll-free at 888-354-9880, or click here for a free consultation.
