Catherine D. Cavenagh Joins Dixon Law Office

We are happy to announce that Catherine D. Cavenagh has joined Dixon Law Office as a trial attorney.

Cavenagh is focusing her practice on representing injured workers in complex worker’s compensation cases. She also will represent office clients in catastrophic personal injury cases. In her few months on staff, she has made a big difference for clients of the firm.

“Our firm has been blessed with tremendous growth over the last few years and in order to continue to provide the best possible level of service for our clients, we needed to add another attorney to the firm,” said G. While in law school, Cavenagh worked at the John Marshall Law School’s Veterans Legal Support Center and Clinic assisting veterans in obtaining benefits. She also worked at the Office of the Cook County Public Defender, first as an intern in the post-conviction and innocence claims division and later in the homicide task force.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the stellar team at Dixon Law Office and feel it is the perfect fit for me,” said Cavenagh. “I have always wanted to help people and working as a personal injury trial attorney allows me to fulfill my personal and professional goals. Cavenagh is a member of the American Association for Justice, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, DuPage Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association. She graduated magna cum laude from Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois, in 2006 with a B.A. in philosophy and a minor in political science, and graduated from John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2013. She grew up in Hinsdale and currently resides in Forest Park.
